Family Systems support
Practical help tailored to your neurodivergent family’s needs, energy, and goals
Whether you're a neurodivergent parent or raising neurodivergent kids, daily life can feel like too much, and it’s easy to feel stuck in survival mode.
That’s where I come in.
Every family is different, so our work together will be too. Some people need hands-on support to tackle a home environment that has become overwhelming. Others need help creating systems that reduce the daily mental load, or someone to think alongside them as they work out what isn't working and what might make everyday life easier.
Together, we'll look at the bigger picture and focus on the changes that could make the greatest difference for your family right now. I offer gentle, judgement-free support that combines practical problem-solving with an understanding of neurodivergence, sensory needs, executive functioning and family capacity.
Home & environment
Creating calmer, more supportive spaces through decluttering, organising, body doubling and sensory-friendly environmental changes.
Planning & organisation
Reducing the mental load through meal planning, calendars, life administration, digital organisation, household systems and practical planning.
Executive functioning & daily rhythms
Working together on the invisible steps that make everyday tasks difficult — from getting started and transitioning between activities to remembering, sequencing and following through.
Family systems & capacity
Looking at how the different parts of family life interact — sleep, sensory needs, environments, schedules, competing demands and everyone's available capacity — so changes in one area can support another.
Building skills & independence
Developing practical strategies that support greater confidence, autonomy and everyday functioning, with support designed to work with your family's brains rather than against them.
Support tailored to your family’s needs
What it’s like to work together
You'll be met with understanding
No judgement. No pressure to have it all together. This is a space where you can bring the real version of family life.
We'll focus on what matters most
Rather than trying to fix everything at once, we'll identify the changes that will make the biggest difference to your family's everyday life.
Support that works with your brain
Everything is tailored to your sensory needs, executive functioning, capacity, and values—because there is no one right way to do family life.
Client testimonial:
‘Working with Kara has genuinely changed how manageable my home feels. I came to her overwhelmed and unsure where to start, and together we've worked through several different areas over time.
What sets her apart is how gentle and kind she is about it all. There's no judgement, just genuine warmth, a good laugh along the way, and someone who actually gets it. Decluttering is emotional as much as practical, and Kara helps me make decisions I'd otherwise put off for months, working alongside me the whole way rather than just directing from the sidelines.
I feel lighter now, and more in control of my space and the day to day running of a busy household. I'd recommend Kara to anyone feeling stuck, ND folk who need body doubling support, busy parents short on time or headspace, or anyone going through a big life change where everything suddenly feels like too much’.
Mrs T, Thornbury.

Client testimonial
‘Kara has been an absolute gift to our family, and I have no hesitation in recommending her to others. She always knows exactly what needs doing in our home, even during chaotic days when I don't know! Becoming parents is hard enough and when we went through some difficult family times, Kara was a compassionate presence who helped us pick up the pieces and keep everyone fed, clean and mostly sane. Whether that be vacuuming around our extensive floor-drobe or whipping up blueberry pancakes to feed the ravenous toddler. There is always a need for a set of extra hands and any family would be so lucky to have Kara supporting them’.
